In the late evening, LL and I attended Leaven Hour at Stephen's Chapel.
Leaven Hour is a monthly event for young adults focused around Eucharist and Eucharistic Adoration. Launched in March 2006, it is sponsored by a number of youth movements across the Archdiocese and regularly attended by over 70 young adults. Mass is followed by prayer, song, Scripture and reflection around Eucharistic Adoration, finishing at 6.30pm.
We then went for a quick dinner at the nearby Oriental Corner and the food there was reasonable. I ordered a Teriyaki Fish Rice but the counter staff got my order wrong and I had to wait for quite a while for my food. The food's not bad but a bit salty and too much rice!
After dinner, we headed back to the church for a music gig. There's 2 music groups performing outside church. They are up-and-coming groups to showcase their music. Although the music's not too fantastic but it was a good time to spend under the stars in the city for free entertainment. Nice weather to be out there too. In summer, the performances are usually held on Friday nights. In winter, it would be on Sunday afternoons because it would be too cold to be out there at night.
