When we reached the MRT Station, we checked out the route on the directory at the bus-stop and how many bus-stops later should we alight. We knew that the bus would not stop in front of the nature reserve but we were prepared to bypass that bus-stop so that we would roughly know how to walk back to the nature reserve. It took about 20 minutes for the bus to arrive. We asked the driver for directions but he's a Chinese National so he could not help us with our queries.
L and I happily enjoyed the bus jounrey and we counted the bus-stop each time the bus passed one. As we reached bus-stop number 10, we noticed that the bus had to do a reverse U-turn to get to the bus-stop and we found it weird. Just as the bus was leaving the bus-stop, to our horror, we saw a sign to alight to get to SB wetland reserve and that was the same bus-stop we should alight! In the end, we walked one bus-stop back to the one at the Kranji Reservoir. We then walked about 25 minutes from the bus-stop to the entrance of Sungei Buloh wetland reserve. Fortunately, it was cloudy therefore we did not feel the heat.
You can see the beautiful pictures from my visit to Sungei Buloh.
Visit to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
As we were about to complete the tour, I saw my friend PL there. He's got a new job and he was checking out Sungei Buloh. He is like a Singapore ambassador who drives tourists around to visit places of interests. His colleagues and him were leaving the nature reserve so we hitched a ride out to the MRT Station.
